How Mobile Grooming Works

A clear, step-by-step look at what happens from the moment you book to the moment you get your dog back.

01

You book online

The booking page shows current availability in real time. Select a date, pick a time slot, and enter your Cincinnati address along with a few details about your dog - breed, coat type, any sensitivities we should know about. The whole process takes a few minutes.

You'll receive a booking confirmation shortly after. If you have questions before then, you can reach the team by phone at +1 513-651-5500 or by email at [email protected].

02

The van arrives

At the scheduled time, the fully equipped grooming van arrives at your address. There's no need to meet outside or help load equipment. The van carries everything it needs - water, power, tools - independently.

We ask that your driveway has roughly the same space as two parked cars. Street parking works too when driveways aren't available. See the Before You Arrive page for specifics.

Your dog never leaves your property. No car ride, no kennel, no unfamiliar building. Just a calm session in a quiet space parked right outside.
03

The groom happens

Your dog steps into the van, and the session begins. Bath, dry, cut, nail trim, ear clean - whatever is included in your chosen package. The groomer works through the session without interruption, giving your dog full attention the entire time.

You don't need to stay nearby or watch through a window. Go inside, carry on with your day. Most sessions run between 60 and 120 minutes depending on breed and coat condition.

04

You get a photo text

When the groom is complete, the groomer sends a text to the number on your booking with a photo of your dog. That's your signal to come out and collect them. No guessing, no waiting by the door.

If anything noteworthy came up during the session - a skin condition, a mat that needed special attention, anything worth knowing - the groomer will mention it at handoff.

Inside the van

The grooming van is purpose-built for mobile work. It's not a converted cargo van - it's a professionally outfitted grooming space with temperature control, proper lighting, and the same equipment you'd find in a ground-based salon.

Water is self-supplied from an onboard tank. Power runs from an integrated generator. Waste water is collected and disposed of properly. Nothing connects to your home's utilities.

Common questions about the process

Do I need to stay home during the appointment?

No. As long as someone is available to hand off and pick up your dog, the rest of the time is yours. Many clients use the grooming window for errands.

What if my dog is anxious or reactive?

Mention it in the booking notes. The one-on-one environment of mobile grooming tends to be easier for anxious dogs than a busy salon, though every dog is different.

How long does a typical session take?

Most full grooms run 60 to 120 minutes. Small dogs with simple coats are on the shorter end. Large breeds or dogs with heavy coats may take longer.

What if there's a problem during the groom?

The groomer will contact you immediately if something comes up. For non-urgent observations, they'll share notes at handoff.
